My first ever Drum kit

My first ever drum kit; it came late but it came and that's what matters. I got my first kit in the form of a present from my dearest friend "FIFI" aka "Abhay mohan". It was a blue Magnum kit. It did not come out as a surprise as fifi was longing to buy it for me and has been saying about this right from the day he got his job.
Our band had suffered a lot just because of the reason that I didn't have a drum kit. It was really a pain in the arse as we had to take drums for rent for each practice, so we hardly practiced. I couldn't possibly buy drums on my own as my folks were never supportive. They had this fear that I might go in the musical path which they really didn't want me to do. It took me five long years to own a drum kit since I started playing drums.

Fifi planned a quick visit to my place and we went straight to Anjaneya Musicals, our second home and bought my first ever kit. I really don't remember the date but who cares; that day can never be forgotten.

P.S : I have been writing lot of blogs but i never publish as I never manage to complete:D This is my first official blog.
